En dus ligt <a href=\"http:\/\/www.octanemagazine.nl\">Octane<\/a> 007 alweer in de winkel &#8211; of nog beter, hij valt door je brievenbus. Het is een echt cadeaunummer in kerstkleuren geworden, waaraan ik met plezier heb bijgedragen.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Het lange verhaal van mijn hand gaat over Shirley van der Lof, die op Zandvoort kennismaakt met hetzelfde type HWM als waarmee haar grootvader Dries ooit in 1952 zijn enige Grand Prix reed. Ook Alexander van der Lof &#8211; zoon van Dries, vader van Shirley &#8211; komt uitgebreid aan het woord. Het artikel wordt ge\u00efllustreerd door prachtige foto&#8217;s van Luuk van Kaathoven en Piet Mulder, vergezeld door kiekjes uit het familiearchief.<\/p>\n<p>Begin november ging ik op pad naar het Waalse Maasstadje Huy, het vertrekpunt voor de Rally du Condroz. Daar volgde ik Kevin Abbring op zijn jacht naar de buit: een terugkeer op het internationale rallypodium met de nieuwe Peugeot 208 T16. Die prijs kon hij veroveren als hij in Belgi\u00eb zou winnen. In dit spannende verhaal lees je of dat is gelukt.<\/p>\n<p>En uiteraard voerde ik weer het bewind over de historische autosportrubriek Finishvlag.
