In het vernieuwde Formule 1<\/em>-magazine zet ik de schijnwerpers op het talentenprogramma van de KNAF, KNAF Talent First, dat intern de bijnaam Jong Oranje heeft meegekregen.<\/p>\n

Ik sprak met eindverantwoordelijke Maarten van Wesenbeeck en vier van de zes talenten: Richard Verschoor, Jarno Opmeer, Rinus van Kalmthout en Jim van den Heuvel. De aanleiding was de lancering van het programma voor 2017, die plaatsvond op de teampresentatie van MP Motorsport in Westmaas, het team waarvoor Verschoor en Opmeer komend jaar uitkomen in de Eurocup Formule Renault 2.0. Richard, Jarno en Jim waren aanwezig, maar Rinus was op dat moment in St. Petersburg, waar hij zijn autosportdebuut bekroonde met twee podiumplaatsen in zijn eerste USF2000-weekend.<\/p>\n
